Pathogenia is a fast paced game where the player matches three or more “pathogens” for points and time. This is accomplished by drawing a connected line through adjacent game objects. Each turn, the player is presented with a pathogen to match for maximum points, however, if no match is available, any object can be chosen. As the player progresses through the levels, power ups become available which provide additional play options. Gameplay is very fast in later levels as the clock counts down faster and faster. The typical game lasts 5 to 10 minutes.
