Application Description
Passwords is a safe place for your passwords, usernames and other account details.
Encryption: it stores your data in an encrypted database (using military-grade AEC-256 encryption). In order to reduce the risk of unauthorized persons accessing your passwords, the app does not store anything in the cloud.
Beam: using our free Mac or Windows app you can easily "beam" your account details from your iPhone/iPad to your computer, allowing you to use your passwords on your PC or Mac, too.
Backup: it's also done via the PC/Mac app, so your data can be recovered even if your iPhone/iPad is lost or stolen.
Security: your data is protected with a master password, therefore unauthorized persons can't have access to your passwords even if they get a hold of your iDevice or your computer.
Sync: the app is also able to sync databases between two nearby iDevices (e.g. your iPhone and your iPad).
Import: you can easily migrate your existing accounts (logins) from 1Password 3.x or 4.0, making it very simple to switch.
Cost: the total cost of using Passwords on three devices (iPhone + iPad + PC or Mac) is much more affordable than most competitors. Free Windows and Mac app, no monthly or yearly subscription, backup and sync are included in the price of the app. With other apps it could easily cost $60-$70 for a two years period…
Limits of the free version: it's fully functional with only one exception: you need an additional in-app purchase to create more than 25 accounts. This limitation doesn't apply to 1Password import (i.e. you can import as many accounts from 1Password as many you want even with the free version).

Privacy: we don't have access to your data. It's only stored on your device and unreadable without your master password. Your master password is not stored anywhere, so be careful: if you forget or lost it, your data will be gone. Forever. There is no way to recover your data without the master password.
Third party libraries: we use Crashlytics to get crash reports, Apsalar to better understand what parts of the app needs to be improved and Helpshift for support. None of those libraries have access to your data. They don't transfer any personal or identifiable data.
