✿ สำคัญมาก: ภาษาของเมนูขึ้นอยู่กับภาษาของเครื่องนะคะ ถ้า iPhone/iPod ของเพื่อน ๆ ใช้ภาษาไทยเป็นหลัก เมนูของแอพก็จะเป็นภาษาไทยค่ะ แต่ถ้าตั้งไว้เป็นภาษาอังกฤษ ก็จะได้เมนูที่หน้าตาเหมือนใน screenshots เลย ^^ ✿


เคยเซ็งรึเปล่าคะว่าทำไมถึงเรียนภาษาอังกฤษมาตั้งหลายปี แต่พอเจอฝรั่งมาสปีคทีไร ไปไม่ถูกทุกทีเลย

พอกันทีกับการพูดภาษาอังกฤษแบบแปลก ๆ กดปุ่ม delete ให้กับประโยคเห่ย ๆ อย่าง "Hello, how are you? I am fine. Thank you, and you?" แล้วมาฟังว่าคน ‘เมกันเค้าพูดอะไรกันในชีวิตประจำวัน ;) อย่าเพิ่งทำหน้าแหยแบบนั้นค่ะ เพราะนี่ไม่ใช่การเรียน คิดซะว่าเรากำลังจะได้รู้จักเพื่อนใหม่แสนน่ารักที่ชื่อว่าฮัท ;) พร้อมกับได้ความรู้และความเข้าใจเรื่องการใช้ภาษาจากประสบการณ์จริง ในชีวิตประจำวัน ขอบอกเลยว่า หลังจากดูคลิปแบบแนว ๆ ของ Pasa แล้ว เพื่อน ๆ จะมั่นใจและอยากลองไปใช้ภาษาอังกฤษจนทนแทบไม่ไหว และบางทีฝรั่งอาจตอบคุณกลับมาว่า "Ohhhhh, you're awesome!" แถมด้วย พจนานุกรมศัพท์วัยรุ่นนี่ยิ่งฟินเข้าไปใหญ่ มันจะมีอะไรสุดยอดกว่านี้อีกไหมเนี่ย

Pasa (which means 'Language' in Thai) is an app that helps Thai teens and young adults learn colloquial English in a fun, informal way. While Thais can be good at grammar and textbook English, they often have trouble with communicating in an everyday way. This app makes English less intimidating and teaches “real” English along with cultural content in real-life situations.

Pasa uses short videos because learners respond more to visuals rather than just dry text. Each lesson uses a mini quiz to reinforce comprehension, and allows users to submit questions and comments directly to the creator via social media. As a part of a Master's Degree's final project, Pasa is a continuing work in progress, and more functionality is being developed.
