The premier timed parking tool for Chicago parking. The app is designed with the busy person in mind. Take a picture of your voucher and let the magic begin as it automatically sets a reminder, saves the data with a map to your car, and allows you to send yourself a record for taxes or business expensing. Use optional fields to enter notes or client info.
We’re hoping that the application is easy and intuitive to use, while alleviating some frustrations and maybe even parking tickets!
Settings Screen:
View Records:
This allows you to view the records of your coupon captures.
Save Coupon Image:
Choose between Prompt, Automatic, and Never; Default: Prompt.
This will allow you to save your voucher images to the camera roll if you desire.
Lead Time:
Default 20 minutes:
This gives you the choice of how long you want to get back to your meter. You can set this in 5 minute increments.
Close App after Processing?
This gives you the ability to press either the “Save as Reminder” or “Save to Calendar” buttons and put your phone away with it back on your Home Screen.
Optional Default Email Address for Export:
If you always email your records to the same address, turn on the toggle and use this field to enter that address to save time.
Include Coupon Image on Export?
You can decide to attach the coupon image to an email that is sent with the CSV file. This only works when you export an individual record from the post-processing screen.
Export All Records:
This will give you an email containing a CSV (Comma Delimited) file which can be opened in Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet programs for easy use with Expensing Programs.
Include Coupon Image on Export
This will email an image of the coupon with your CSV file on file export.
When you open the application, you will be taken straight to the camera where you can take a picture of your parking voucher. If the image looks good, you can “Use” that photo and the characters will be read by our state-of-the-art OCR program and entered into the fields that appear on the next screen.
Expire Time, Begin Time, Amount Paid, Ticket ID, and Rate per hour are entered automatically (you can manually edit these fields), you then have the option to enter Client, Location, and any Notes that you need. These fields are optional and need not be entered.
You can also choose to export the information from that one voucher in a CSV file as an email to yourself or your accountant for record keeping and expensing.

Choose between Calendar and Reminder: 
You can make the choice based upon which system you use to best notify you that your parking time is up. If you use the Calendar reminder, you will have a link to the map of the location you used when you took the image of the voucher.
A note on Picture Taking:
The OCR works best if the image of the coupon is as big as feasible, so use as much of the camera screen as possible (make sure to capture all the text area in the picture). If you take the picture using a landscape position of the camera, the image will be automatically displayed in the portrait format, but this doesn't affect the ability to recognize the text in any way.
