Paranoid Fan is a sports-centric social network for mobile devices. Our service aims to be a place where sports fans can interact with their friends, make new ones, get up-to-date news headlines for their favorite teams and chat during sporting events.

In it’s current form, Paranoid Fan will be an iPhone application supported by a light desktop version.

To users, Paranoid Fan is the ultimate social network for sports fans. It lets them track their favorite teams, stay in touch with friends while making new ones and be actively engaged in “conversations” with other fans inside and outside their personal network.

Social Stream Interface - Our social stream allows users to have all their favorite team’s news aggregated and curated to their timeline. Fans choose which teams to follow and our editorial group tracks and pushes out the most relevant and breaking news. Our proprietary algorithmic process discovers and allows our editorial group to select and push the news that is best fit for our stream.

Conversations - Users can start new conversations with other users (inside or outside their personal network). Interaction is contained within team-specific communities for easier discovery and engagement.

Check-In - Users can stay in contact with our check-in system. Unlike a typical check-in system, out platform brings context to the location feature to mobile users. Fans can check-in with their friends or others in the PF network for either “watching a game” or “attending a game. See which of your friends are also watching the game or make friends watching the games with others on our network.
