This 1935 film starring John Wayne, was also known as 'Guns along the trail'. Wayne's character is sent to find some counterfeiters, so he joins a travelling medicine show. Wayne then sets out to bring down 'Curly Joe' and his whole counterfeiting operation.

Director - Carl Pierson - Has 3 directing credits to his name on IMDB, but an amazing 212 editor creditors on there also. Films he directed were - Paradise Canyon, The New Frontier, and The Singing Vagabond.

John Wayne - born Marion Morrison, began a football scholarship in 1925-1927 at USC, his friend Tom Mix, got Wayne a summer job as a prop man during the summer in exchange for football tickets. During his summer job he became good friends with director, John Ford, and as a result was often cast doing bit parts. Somewhere along the way he decided he would stay with film and his first feature was ‘Men Without Women’. During his career he went onto star in nearly 250 movies. Wayne’s health was far from great and from September 1964 onwards he underwent surgery to have a cancerous lung removed, a heart valve replacement, and in January 1979 his stomach was removed. John Wayne later died on 11 June, 1979 of lung and stomach cancer.
