This app has been built for Run311, a global memorial running event will be held on March.11th, 2012 on earth.
There is an event page in Facebook (http://on.fb.me/Run311)
And http://run311.com will be ready for the event.
We are a social business startup named Pace4. (http://pace4.net)
We hope you join Run311 and have more fun and meaningful time with this app during the event.
Let me introduce our story briefly:

Have you ever imagine how would it be awesome if your daily jogging turns into a meaningful contribution to the society?
Not only for your own health and joy but also for your communities' health and joy.
Pace4 started from that simple thought. This application, Pace4run, is our first answer.
Pace4run is designed to be a complementary app.
You can use it with other fitness apps in the same time.
We hope Pace4run could add some more meaning to your running.
Pace4run is yet a very simple application which was built for Run311 which is a running event happening on 11th March 2012 for the memorial and supports for the victims and the stricken areas of the 2011 M9 earthquake and tsunami in Japan. (called Great East Japan Earthquake. -wikipedia)

GPS Watch Feature
Calculate running time and distance. Reveal the path ran on a small map.
On the map, the main starting point of Run311 event, Ishinomaki, will be guided by a 'Red' line.
Ishinomaki is one of the most damaged area by the disaster.
A red line on a map could be nothing but we hope it could help you to feel more closely and connected to the stricken area and people who is living there.
Event Invites Feature
Provide the Run311 event RSVP and link to Facebook’s event page.
Event Updates Feature
Publishing information of the running event. For example, updates about participant runners, goal of the event or total gathered distance of run, and fundraised amount. Fundraising will be happen in another site not in this app. Please keep checking the update for more details.
Commemorative Photo Feature
Photos will be presented to the participants for memento. For now we've include a few photos of Ishinomaki for you.
Social Media Share Feature
Please share this event and bring more friends to join in. Facebook and twitter sharing is possible.
Bonus Feature
You can watch 360 degree panorama view of a spot of recent Inshinomaki. We hope we can deliver more panorama views in future.
Disclaimer) Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
*This app is designed to be able to work in background to help you to use other app conveniently. So we built background GPS tracking feature in this app.
