Application Description
This is a simple tool to survey distance on foot. The distance is calculated by using GNSS. A survey result (tracking data) can be checked with iOS map and is recyclable by file sharing.
About settings:
Units - meter, international foot or U. S. survey foot.
Distance calculation methods - iOS Default, Haversine, Hubeny-Simple, Bowring or Hubeny-Standard. The Bowring's method is the best accuracy.
Reference ellipsoids - WGS84 or GRS80.
Notice:
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
