Application Description
This utility quickly helps you to identify the value and tolerance of standard 4– and 5-band resistors.
To use OhmPal hold the resistor with the Tolerance Band to the right. Then dial up the colours from left to right. For a 4-band resistor select “None” for the 3rd band. If there is no tolerance band simply select “None” for that too. Then select “Calculate” to display the nominal value and tolerance of the resistor.
