Tomoko Okabe, a.k.a. "obetomo" since her school days, (born 1979) is an illustrator and animator.
She is best known for her kid's cartoon "Obetomo Gakuen", aired weekly on japanese national broadcast tv network NHK Educational, as part of the award-winning kid's program "Shakiin".
