NomadSwipe allows a merchant to register and redeem loyalty and gift card transactions through the PixiePlex network simply by sliding a customer's magnetic card through an approved plug-in reader on any iDevice. The PixiePlex network allows marketing agencies around the world to offer loyalty programs and services to local small and large businesses alike with a world-class yet affordable loyalty platform.
Although NomadSwipe is free to download, it requires a subscription to any one of the various globally available loyalty programs under various brands that are connected to the PixiePlex Network.
NomadSwipe does require additional hardware to "read" a swiped magnetic card.
