Buoys-Lite map provides the boaters, mariners or sailors with an easy to use update system to receive most frequent weather information of a specific area.
Buoys map collects information from buoy locations all over the World and presents it in customized intuitive manner. It is comprised of coastal buoy stations, near shore, and offshore. It retrieves weather data from the National Data Buoy Center (NDBC), a part of NOAA.
The impressive thing about Buoys-Lite Map is that the weather observations received are only the actual current conditions taken within the preceding few hours. The updated date and time will be visible at all intervals on the map main screen bottom bar.
Buoys-Lite reports include Wind Directions and Speeds, Wind Gusts, Wave Heights, Dominant Wave Period, Average Period, Mean Wave Direction, Atmospheric Pressure, Pressure Tendency, Air Temperature, Water Temperature, Dew Point, Visibility and Tide.
