Let’s face it, clocks are cool. They’re especially exciting if they’re something that’s “steampunk” and just happens to be a clock! As far as clocks go, this one is pretty special.
This 3d alarm clock is a work of art! If you love Nixie clocks and have a thing about tubes that are plenty old, you are going to love this app. This Steampunk Nixie Clock blends the antique and the ancient into a unique configuration that's bookended by what looks like submarine hatches from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. This one's even complete with an alarm.
The design is based on an original made from Pyrex toughened glass, solid copper and brass machined parts. The electronics feature six IN-18 Nixie Tubes that any Steampunk would be proud of.

NAVIGATION
You can move around the clock easily with just a drag and pinch of your fingers.
GYROSCOPE
If you want to have a virtual look around the clock, switch on the gyroscope function and the clock will stay in position relative to the world as you move around.
COLOUR CHANGER
You can change colours of the numbers as easily as the swipe of a finger. You can have the traditional warm orange glow of an IN-18 tube or the hyperreal neon hue of something not of this world.
CAMERA BACKGROUND
You can switch the background of the app to use the built in camera on the phone. If you are prone to bumping into things, falling down manhole covers etc. whilst using your device, this is probably the setting for you!
SOUNDS
The clock has some authentic sounds to compliment its steampunk feel. The keys reproducing the sound of an old typewriter.
