Did you ever need to remember a special place where you have been or have to plan an itinerary for one of your trips? MyPlaces is a new application for iPhone and iPod Touch that allows you to store, annotate, organize and share your favorite places in a simple and intuitive way.

Found an interesting place?
Save your current position with the auto location feature or use the search tool to find places far away from you searching by name or by GPS coordinates.

Attach notes and pictures!
Assign a title to your places, include text notes and images that you can choose from your camera roll or take directly with the integrated device camera.

Every place in the right group!
Keep all your places in order by organizing them into groups. For example, you are spending your holidays in London and you want to remember the most beautiful places you visited? Create a group called "Holiday in London" and add the places in which you have been, perhaps attaching some nice pictures.

Export and share your places!
You need to export, share and process the data collected? Thanks to the export features of MyPlaces you can export your places in many formats and send them to your computer.
You can export the places in the following formats:

Text file:
Export the list of all your places and their notes in a simple text file that you can then send via email directly from the application.

Google Earth:
Export and view your places on Google Earth.

GPX file:
Do you want to include the GPS coordinates inside of your photos taken with your Reflex camera? Every time you take a picture use MyPlaces to store the current position. When the photo session is done, use MyPlaces to export all the coordinates in the GPX format. This format is recognized by some applications like HoudahGeo or Aperture. These softwares automatically associate the GPS coordinates found in the GPX file to your photos.

XML file:
MyPlaces is also addressed to researchers or scholars who need to take note of places for research, perhaps noting sightings of animals or keeping track of particular weather situations. Once you've collected all the data you can export it in the XML format to perform more in-depth analysis and statistics.

Build a web site, automatically!
You want to share your places online? MyPlaces can automatically build a website with the list of all your places, related notes and pictures, simply by pressing a button! All the necessary files will be generated automatically. You will be then able to view the website on your computer or publish it on the web.
