MyMap allows you to load your own maps, from any source, and train them using a simple two step process. Once trained, the map will be added to your library. There are many uses for user supplied maps including:

* hiking
* biking
* motorcycling
* snowmobiling
* paintball courses
* large construction sites

Training enables you to show your current position on the map. For best results, the two points should not be directly above or next to each other. You can also re-train maps at any time. The further apart the two locations on the map are, the more accurate the display of your current location will be.

Maps are loaded from your photo library so any image in your library can be used for a map. The best way to get maps into the phone, for now, is using email to send them. Maps larger than 1000x1000 pixels will need to be resized. You can easily save images to your photo library by displaying the image and pressing on it. If the image can be saved, you be asked to save it.

MyMap does not include any built in maps. It will not direct you to a location on the map. The main purpose of MyMap is to provide a quick indication of where you are on the current map without requiring a cell phone signal to be present, (iPhone 3G and higher only).
