This App is designed for children aged 2+. Working through the four challenges is a fun way to learn about adding and taking away using a 1 – 10 number line:

Challenge 1 - To count on, starting at the number 0.

Challenge 2 - To count on, starting at a given number in a random range. For example, from number 3 count on 2.

Challenge 3 - To count back, starting at the number 10.

Challenge 4 - To count back, starting at a given number in a random range. For example, from number 7 count back 3.

The App is intuitive to use - tap to select the target number in response to the prompt. After initial learning with an adult, children can then progress to independent learning.

Change the App settings to vary the level of difficulty and tailor the challenges to the child's current stage of learning. At the easier level the add/take away is always set to 1 and is best for younger children. The medium level this is set to either 2 or 3 and at the harder level set to either 4 or 5.

Set an auto-correct function, personalise the App with a child's name, share snapshots or send them as an attachment via email.
