My Mates Private Friends Network allows you to locate and view your friends and family’s locations in real time on your iPhone and iPad (3G). Login with your Facebook account and you can immediately see and invite your Facebook friends (2 friend limit on lite version).

Once they join you in using the app, you can setup custom alerts based on distance so that you know when they are around the corner even if your phone is in your pocket.
