My Evil Dominion (MEDO) is a massive multiplayer space strategy game for 2 to 2000 players. There are many games (or galaxies) running simultaneously that players can choose to join; alternatively players can set up their own galaxies and earn commission in real cash for any players that join.

In My Evil Dominion, you

•Expand your empire by taking control of planets through colonisation and bloody conquests,
•Build vast fleets of ships to wage war on your enemies and defend your dominion.
•Research key technologies to enhance your capabilities.
•Manage all of the planets in your dominion adjusting key priorities for each planet in pursuit of your overall quest to rule the galaxy.

Each galaxy has its own characteristics in terms of game speed and duration. Galaxies run for anything from a few days to a number of months. There is always space available in galaxies that are free to play, however for more immersive game play and the possibility of earning real cash prizes, players will need to buy tokens from the App Store and use these to join paid for galaxies. A player can be playing any number of galaxies simultaneously. Once a player has joined a galaxy there is no requirement to make any further in App purchases for equipment upgrades etc, however in some games players do have the option to use tokens to advance research, but this is purely optional.

The game play itself is very simple and uses a system of messages to keep a player informed of key events that have occurred. The player reacts to the messages by issuing commands to planets and/or fleets which in turn trigger future events and resultant messages. My Evil Dominion is well suited to the casual gamer and has been designed to enable effective management of your dominion with only a few minutes of game play each day.
