***The Cat***

Diane Egge has worked with children for many years as a private piano instructor and before that as a school teacher. Since becoming a grandmother, she has been in spired to write stories for the very young.

Diane is married to her husband of 37 years, Jerry. They have three children and two grandchildren----so far.

She loves animals and has had them all her life. She finds the cute and funny things they do to be quite entertaining. She hopes you can identify with some of these antics in the story.
