Application Description
My Chinese puts together in one app everything you need to learn Chinese in both simplified and traditional characters.
My Chinese is also available on the iPhone.
You'll find help and youtube videos at www.mypockit.com, but to get you started try this:
- Go to 'Beginning Chinese 1' and click on the first lesson 'To Be'
- Review the words. Double click to hear them and right click -> Play All to loop through all the words.
- Each word has a "Reading" and an "Understanding" level. Click on Quiz to test yourself and increase the level.
- Reading refers to knowing the pinyin and Understanding refers to knowing the English.
- After the quiz your words will appear in 'My Words'
- Periodically the computer puts your words into 'Stale Words'. Be sure to check this list and quiz yourself each day.
