So what is My Bad Consumer?
In short, it’s a sarcastic and therapeutic consumer complaint service where (for a change) the service providers can tell the real stories about their crazy customers! We (the employees) are not always at fault, and it’s time to talk about it and take a stand!!! While we’re at it, we may as well have some FUN with it…
Most of us have worked (or are working) a job that puts us face to face with the general public on a regular basis… And we have experienced irrational, demanding, abusive, manipulative, and psychotic behaviors of every kind.
Sometimes these consumers left us shaking our heads and looking for sympathy; sometimes the words were so cruel that we unfairly questioned our value as a person; sometimes they made us think thoughts that could get you 10 years in jail; and sometimes they made us feel an inch tall and worthless…And SOMETIMES, they behaved so outrageously that they left us, and everyone nearby, laughing our heads off!!!
My Bad Consumer.com introduces an app (and home!) for customer service representatives (AKA: those who really suffer at the hands of the general public) to share and compare their stories of crazy encounters with some even crazier customers. The Official My Bad Consumer iPhone App invites you and your fellow co-workers (victims?) to:
- Log in and share your stories (anonymously if you prefer) with other My Bad Consumer users. This means, you can complain, rant and rave, or whine like a little baby and no one needs to know it was you.
- Browse My Bad Consumer’s growing list of “most recent” and “top 10” bad customer experiences (you know, so that your day at work doesn’t seem SO bad…)
- Visit the My Bad Consumer website, and rate your favorite (or rather, least favorite) “My Bad” stories.
- Read other posts and compare your day to someone else’s. (You might not feel as bad when you read someone else’s more horrible stories)
- Ask other users and visitors for feedback and suggestions for dealing with situations or issues you find yourself in.
- Participate in future online contests and draws for sympathy prizes from a growing list of supportive and understanding sponsors.
- You can take whatever feelings you have and put them out to the universe, unburden yourself, and cleanse your spirit… or you can just verbally devastate some ridiculous person who ruined your otherwise excellent day.
