Application Description
Multimedia Crossing has developed a revolutionary home entertainment system that enables control, switching and distribution of high-definition uncompressed video, audio, USB , Ethernet, IR, RS-232, content protection and power over a single cable.
MxM's HDMI to DiiVA™ Home Multimedia Matrix Switch & Control Hub allows the user to connect up to 4/6/9 (number of source and display devices depend on the model) HD source devices (such as a Blu-ray player, HD STB, game console, etc.) and outputs video, audio, commands and data to any 3/6/9 displays. Since the unit is a matrix switcher, any or all of the AV inputs can be switched to any or all of the output displays simultaneously.
This MxM Remote application allows the user the control the home entertainment network with MxM6140 by:
- Controlling all your connected devices (Blu-ray player, HD STB, game console, TV) via IR generation (IR database and learning capability)
- Any to Any/All A/V distribution (matrix switching)
- Create macro to personalize your control
