On the tour you’ll discover how Sheffield became renowned across the globe for its cutlery and learn more about the innovations in metal which made Sheffield famous – Old Sheffield Plate, Britannia metal and Stainless steel. You’ll hear how the industry went into decline but bounced back with a new generation of designer-makers who are putting Sheffield back on the map.
