Enjoy beautiful Scottish art wherever you go! This free gallery brings you gorgeous Scottish landscapes by celebrated artist Moy Mackay. We hope this new way of sharing art will inspire you, and brighten up your day!
These original landscapes were created by Moy Mackay especially for this iPhone exhibition, to celebrate the rich colours and warm textures that can be expressed in this exciting new medium. This gallery is a collection of recent works from the artist’s favourite travels around Scotland.
Moy Mackay was born in Edinburgh, and graduated from the renowned Glasgow School of Art with a BA Hons degree in 1990. Her recent work combines traditional techniques of felt-making with a fine art application, creating strikingly vivid works of art.
Her work is exhibited in many of Scotland's leading galleries, as well as in the US, and she is fast becoming known as one of the country's leading textile artists. She is based at Wasps Artists' Studios in Selkirk, in the Scottish Borders.
