Application Description
Monster Moogle develops creative thinking, artistic ability and skill in children. It is an interactive storybook that inspires the user to engage with his/her imagination in creating unique characters and short stories (collage maker is coming soon!). Thus enhancing comprehension and comprehensive structures.
AGES: 2-12
The book is narrated by Butch, the bulldog puppy.
Butch takes the user on a magical journey where the user meets and engages with fantastical monster friends.
Monster Moogle’s message is that monsters exist in the user’s imagination alongside all of his/her creativity. The question then becomes “what else is in your imagination?” This is where the collage maker comes in (coming soon!).
Monster Moogle had been tested with kids of all ages and levels in their classrooms. Colormeclever consults with educators, psychologists and other experts to enhance and support the process.
The apps we create are the expressions of our value system.
As with many large app installations, we advise that you restart your device after installing as this will resolve some stability issues. Also make sure you have installed the most recent firmware.
ACTIVITIES
1)STORY MODE: Read the story with Butch. There is no
interactivity in this section. The aim is to focus on the story.
2)INTERACTIVE STORY: Explore the world in which the monsters
exist. Read the story. Enhance your imagination through discovering hidden animations and sound effects.
3)CHARACTERS: Meet the characters individually and take a closer look to see what they are made of. Listen to sounds from their world.
SKILLS
The following skills will be enhanced through Monster Moogle:
READING:
-Aimed at the level of a 5 year old (Minimum).
-The story will also be read to you.
IMAGINATION:
-Everything is based on enhancing imagination.
CREATIVITY:
-Create your own characters.
LIFE SKILLS:
-Learn about fear and the power of enhancing a positive imagination.
HAPPINESS:
-Enjoy, laugh and be happy with the new world you have created. Show it to everyone!
