MIA (Museum Info Application) is a FREE Mobile Device Application that provides information related to events, exhibits, galleries, and artists. Essentially, this app provides easy access to information about your local cultural community including GPS directory listing information for all venues.
The cultural community includes the following:

•Science Centers and Museums
•Children’s Museums

•Historical and Heritage Sites

The MIA app includes the following:
The MIA app provides up-to-date information about museum and gallery events. The articles are conveniently displayed with the logo of each organization for easy access and identification.
Events and activities are categorized by state or region. You can select a specific state such as Boston or New York and obtain information for those specific areas only.
A GPS map section is also provided to allow for easy and quick location of the venues. This section is also state or region specific.
A special Community section is provided for MIA registered members that allow posting and sharing pictures.
Registered members have certain benefits such as the Community section, posting and sharing photographs, and entering comments.
A What’s Hot section that highlights specific and special events for each state or region.
The Favorites section allows user to identify preferred museums or galleries for quick access to those specific venues.
