Application Description
Mi Emergency Information allows you to have a method for emergency personnel to contact someone of your choice in the event of an emergency! It has the ability for you to display your primary contact right on your lock screen for quick access in case of an emergency. Version 3 is a complete re-write from the ground up. Implementing new features to help you.
Features Include:
-Contact Management
You can select up to 3, Primary, Secondary and Alternative, contacts directly from your contact list on your device. You can view full contact details by selecting the name from the list. You can also directly manage the selected contact from within the app making any necessary modification without having to exit.
You may also directly call the person by tapping on the phone number field. This is handy for emergency personnel if your primary contact cannot be reached or you have forgotten to update your wallpaper on your lock screen.
You can now see an image of your contacts from directly within the app. Each contact now can display 2 phone numbers.
-Medical Information
You can manage your medical information from within the app. You can list your medical conditions, current medications you are taking and any allergies that you have.
You can also list your current Physician and call them directly from within the app as well.
-Panic Screen
This screen will allow you to send out a panic message to your social networks. The distress message will contain your last known location and post a map to your choice of network. This is the first screen that is shown when the app is launched in case of a dire emergency!
Support for Twitter and Facebook are available and more to come.
-Identification
The identification screen allows you to take a photo of your current identification. The photos are stored within the app and are always available. You can store 2 images of your identification, front and back.
-Custom Wallpaper
The custom wallpaper portion of the application allows you to select an image from your Photo Library and place your primary contact phone number on it. The application does not overwrite the image you select but instead saves it as a new image back to your Photo Library. You can then change your wallpaper for your lock screen to this newly created image and your information will be available even if you have a pass code on your lock screen.
