MetroMinder™ DC provides experienced riders of the Washington, DC Metro Rail an indispensable tool to plan, track, and manage daily commutes. TRIP TRACKING, STATUS, AND NOTIFICATIONS
• MetroMinder tracks every passenger train moving on the DC Metrorail system (on a separate MM server using its TripSync™ Tracking System). This data is used to derive and display data to help riders plan trips, track trip progress, and alert riders about trip status/progress.

Trip Tracking Screens include:
• Current/Next Stop Name
• Estimated Arrival Time
• Estimated Minutes Left in Trip
• Number of Remaining Stops
• List of Remaining Stops (and the estimated minutes to arrival)
• Metro “Alerts” Relevant to the Trips Defined
• Progress Alerts and Notifications (e.g. “Time to Get Off the Train!”)

TRACK OTHER TRIPS
• Users can easily monitor any trip actively tracked by MM by entering the MM TripId for the trip. This makes it easier to meet up with a co-worker, spouse, or friend or get picked up at the destination station - just tell them your MM TripId and they can monitor the trip using MetroMinder.

SIGNIFICANTLY EXPANDED TRAIN ARRIVAL/PREDICATION DATA
• By tracking every active train, MetroMinder can provide arrival data for many more trains at each station than other apps or directly from the Metro web site.
• MetroMinder displays arrival data for all trains that will move the rider toward their destination - providing more options to help plan the commute.
• MetroMinder also displays “Scheduled” Trains (via the GTFS Feed) – after the listing of available “live” trains.

“END STATION” PREDICTION DATA
• MetroMinder uses its live TripSync tracking data to derive and display arrival/prediction data for “end stations” (something not available from Metro or other apps) – expanding data riders can use to plan their commute.

DATA FOCUSED ON THE RIDER
• MetroMinder filters all available data (e.g. tracking, alerts, prediction data, etc.) to present only data pertinent to the defined trip – helping the user quickly assess information and optimize commutes.
• For example, prediction displays show only trains that move the rider toward the target destination (eliminating trains going in the wrong direction).
• Displays clearly show which trains are “Direct” trips and which would require a “Transfer.”
• Also, only Metro Alerts related to the rider’s trip are shown on trip displays - simplifying displays and making it easier for to quickly obtain information.

CREATE, SAVE, AND LOAD FAVORITE TRIPS
• Users can easily save and load frequently used trips and name them whatever they like: “Home to Work,” “Work to Home,” or other frequent commuting options.

RUSH HOUR PLUS SUPPORT
• MetroMinder provides full support for Rush Hour Plus (RHP) and displays a special icon for RHP trains along with a notation of whether the train is a “Direct” trip or require a train “Transfer” – helping the rider select the best option.
