Merchant Quest is a merchant sales and adventure simulation game.
The main aspect of the game involves collecting money through repeatedly hunting monsters, collecting items, then selling those items to customers.

「Story」
Long, long ago there were pots that had the ability to fulfill any wish that could satisfy the desires of men.
People revered these pots as, “The pot of wishes,” and achieved happiness through them.
However, those who possessed the pot would mysteriously disappear, suddenly leaving nothing but a pot behind.
Over time these pots came to be known as, “The pot of desire,” and they were sealed off in holy shrines.
It is said that one day these supposedly sealed off pots suddenly disappeared, just as people had begun to forget about them.
“So long as there is desire in the hearts of men, the pots will appear once more.”
This is the world you are stepping into…
