Application Description
(Prerequisites for using this application are: iOS6, and access to your contacts and photos. Access to calendar events and allowing push notifications are not required but is recommended.
NONE of your personal data, contacts, calendar events, or photos are shared or distributed. When you create an event and the contact photo changes (and if there is internet activity), it's the OS changing your contact information throughout your devices.)
There are many applications available today to help organize events and tasks. However, this particular app makes it easier to remember events (whether in your calendar or not) when you associate the event with a particular person in your contacts/address book. This application will associate the contact's image with a photo/picture of your choice. When that person calls you (or you call that person) you will see that image and it will instantly remind you of an event coming up involving that person. When the event is over, the application will revert the original photo back to what it was before the event took place.
For example, if you are going to attend the Giants game with Max on June 1st, you want subtle reminders of this event. So how do you avoid having Max call on May 31st about the game and you slapping your forehead saying 'Oh crap, I totally forgot.' So with this app, you can say: "Starting from April 15th to June 1st, every time Max calls me, show me a picture of Giants stadium." When April 15th arrives, it will set Max's contact photo to a picture of Giants stadium. From now on when Max calls you, you will see a picture of Giants stadium and your memory will click saying "Yeah, we're supposed to watch the game together soon! I better do my packing and schedule the time off, etc"
This will be helpful for people with quite hectic schedules. You won't forget about a sporting event, a kids game, poker night, etc.
The word 'Memoria' is Latin for memory.
This application needs access to your contacts. It does NOT spam your contacts or sell your private/personal information. Your information is kept local to your phone. The application changes photos of contacts based on the criteria you determine. The photos are reverted back.
