TL/DR: Take pictures, add meme style captions, put them in the internet.

I'm here to right a wrong. It's something that's been bothering me for a while. I've noticed a lot of folks take pictures with their phones, which is wonderful and all, but what I don't see very often is someone fulfil what really should be their civic responsibility, and add proper captions.

Photos don't need composition or lighting, they need captions! Seriously - turn off the lights, point your phone at something (doesn't matter what) and take a picture. Terrible, yes? A boring black waste of space.

Now, imagine a tiny snippet of your worldly wit superimposed up top in bold script. What once was a photographic embarrassment marked for a direct trip to the big dustbin metaphor in the sky, is now a piece of genuine comedy-gold. Or a deep commentary, whatever floats your boat. A boat! I should buy me one of those.

I can see you're still not convinced. How about if I throw in a SECOND caption. You heard right: two captions. One up top for free, and another down below for NO EXTRA CHARGE! (We don't nickel and dime folks here at Sicknote).

Don't like taking photos but still want to enrich society with captions? There're a bunch of popular memes available, you can import from just about anywhere via your camera roll, or copy/paste.
