The official app for the 2012 Melbourne Writers Festival allows you to explore, connect and streamline your festival experience.
The MWF2012 app lets you:
- Browse and search the 2012 program by date, venue, writer, genre and event type
- Buy tickets securely with your credit card, anywhere, anytime
- Buy Passes through the iPhone app and redeem sessions immediately
- Go paperless: download tickets to your iPhone to be scanned at the door
- Create a Wishlist of must-see events
- Browse ‘What’s On’ at the festival daily
- Shake the app on any program screen for random selection!
- Find your way to the screening through Venue maps
- Get the latest Festival News and interact with MWF through Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube
- Learn the temperature in Melbourne before stepping out the door
Left your printed tickets at home?
If you buy tickets using the same MWF account details, you can retrieve all the barcodes on your iPhone regardless of how you purchased (counter, web or phone). These barcodes can be scanned on your iPhone for entry at the venue door.
