MegaStars is a rpg puzzle game where you are the manager of an array of colorful artists for a record label called MegaStars inc. It is your job to get your artists to reach Megastar status. To do this, you take them on tour to different cities and produce records in the studio. Each city has a number of clubs that your artists must perform at before time runs out. You move your artists to the various clubs around the city, trying to clear the level in the fewest number of moves. This becomes a harder task as the fame of your artists rises and the demand for their time increases. To help, each artist has access to the studio where they can be upgraded. Along with the studio, each artist has a special ability that must be mastered.

Now, not all is as it should be. There are those who do not want you to succeed, namely the Death Beatz. Death Beatz are zombies with a taste for karaoke. They would like nothing better than to see you fail and have all clubs converted into karaoke bars.
