The original MegaBall 1991 by Ed & Al Mackey.

MegaBall began it's life as a freely distributable
Public Domain game with an optional Shareware
level editor. It was later commercially published,
and became freely available again in 2012.
MegaBall became a benchmark for it's genre.

This app runs the original floppy disk image on
an emulated classic computer of the same era,
the Commodore Amiga 500, and therefore does
not reflect the performance of the iPhone,
the emulated computer, or the original game.

This app features a genuine crack/cartridge style
trainer option for 99 lives, or selectively enabling
permanent power ups in any combination.
Support for original keyboard activated cheats,
Optional auto rotation of the game's levels,
Visual representation of floppy disk access,
Custom level 2 game board for iPhone or iPad,
Functionality to load and save high scores,
and a feature to display the genuine Amiga
"Insert Workbench Disk" requester screen.

Although a redundant feature for this release,
the disk image is checked for the famous
"Lamer Exterminator" virus at every launch.

The floppy disk image is never modified.
The iOS App makes changes to the Amiga's
memory directly!

This distribution meets licensing requirements
of it's components by being non-commercial,
bound to a single free game, and open sourced.

The objective of this distribution is recreate an
experience within the scope of a single game,
and preserve a piece of history that deserves it.
