MediCarer makes it easy to manage your daily medical tasks.
It can also be very useful if you (or your relative for whom you care) have diabetes, high blood pressure or other illness which requires taking medication at certain time during the day.
It is easy to forget about your medication or miss the time.

One of the advantages of using MediCarer is that it allows you to create an interactive link with your doctor by allowing to append your monitored indicators (like sugar, blood pressure) to the prescribed treatment and post them through e-mails.
This can allow your doctor to make the useful adjustments.

You can also use it as a common case organizer for repetitive chores.

Your task reminders can be scheduled as daily, weekly or once.
At the bottom of the screen you can notice the tabs defining all basic features.
They are: manage "Today" activity, "Add task", view "History" and read "Manual".

You will start by creating a task for which you would describe what to do, select tasks's time and frequency, and specify the ability to snooze.
For example, you create a task which should occur at 12:30 pm every day (daily) with the description like "check blood pressure", "lipitor 10mg" or "inject insulin".
Each time you add, complete or erase a task, your action is recorded inside the history.
If you make a task with the time in the past, you will be reminded next day (daily or once task) or next week (weekly task).

When the task is due, the reminder is delivered via popup alerts, sound and vibration.
In case you ignored the reminder, MediCarer will attempt to notify you about it again on any following reminder.
You can also access the missed reminders in your Iphone's Message Center.
Any reminders, which remain ignored at the end of the day, are erased when the day is over.

You can complete a task earlier then scheduled if desired.
Also any obsolete task can be erased, for example, when one medication is replaced by another.

You can add any comments ("Note") to the history, for example, describe the possible side effects etc.
Let's say you created two tasks: "check sugar" and "insulin 6 units" scheduled for 12:30 pm.
When "check sugar" reminder arrives you measure the sugar level and record it as a comment.
When "insulin" reminder arrives, you will confirm that you made a shot.
Both records will stay in the history with their respective time.
Periodically you will send the history ("Send") to your doctor who can evaluate your progress by matching those records.

Try to keep the scheduled and actual (confirmed) task completion times close, it makes you a better patient.
You can see both times in the history as well.

Use "Detail" to see the long description for any selected items in Today and History tabs.
