---Profile---
Mari Okabe was born in Nagasaki Prefecture.
She graduated from the English Department of Fukuoka Junior Women’s University.
During college she began modeling and DJing on the radio. In addition to television, radio interviews, event emceeing and coordinating she has also expanded her activities to acting and writing.
She has a deep knowledge of foreign films and she has published essays on both films as well as various subjects from a woman’s perspective.
Recently, in addition to entertainment, she has also begun actively writing and event planning around “Lifesytle” themes.
This year she celebrates her 21st year as the secretary on the Asahi broadcasted “Knight Scoop”.
