Media Browser makes your iPhone/iPad a UPnP/DLNA deceive, your may browse all your UPnP/DLNA compatible Media Server in your home network, and play supported media files over the WiFi, such as MP4/MOV/M4V video, MP3 music and photos. Most free or commercial DLNA server including Windows Media Player work fine with our Media Browser. For unsupported format, such as AVI, MPG, MKV, a Media Server with transcoding feature is required. Caution: Please Read through all description before proceed, choosing/setting up media server could be time consuming, working on supported video format need some basic knowledge, if you don't know what you are doing, do not buy Media Browser.

Supported format if your media server do not have transcoding feature:

Video:
H.264 video up to 720p, 30 frames per second, Main Profile level 3.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format

Audio:
Audio formats supported: HE-AAC (V1), AAC (16 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Store), MP3 (16 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3, and 4), Apple Lossless, AIFF, and WAV

If your media server has on the fly transcoding to H.264 or MPEG4 feature, when properly setup, Media Browser will support all formats that your media server supports.

Caution MAC users: Nullriver Medialink is designed for PS3 and will not work with this App at all, only show contents, no playing.

PS3 Media Server is designed for PS3, it will not work with this App on iPhone. It does work with iPad though, please get iPad render file from our support site.

To the reviewer who claim it doesn't work: please contact us, we will help you get the setup done. Most your listed Media Servers are officially supported. We will reply your email within 48 hours and we even setup phone support if your case is more complicated. Thanks.
