MatchUp is a new and better way for friends and strangers to connect to play the sports they love. Create games, be notified of games, find games, join games, all the while meeting new people, having fun, and getting healthy.

WHY USE MATCHUP?

* NO MORE SEARCHING: The pickup sports apps currently on the market force you to open the app to search for nearby games. This means that if you don't open the app at the right time, you're going to miss opportunities to play. MatchUp offers location based notifications, meaning that if a game is created near you - you'll know. Additionally, we'll notify you if people joined a game you created or if a game you joined was approved or closed.

* FACEBOOK, BUT MORE: Yes, we require login through Facebook, but do not think this means you can only play sports with your friends! With MatchUp, anyone, regardless of friend status, will be able to find and join your games. And utilizing Facebook means that before a game is approved for play, each of the game's players will be able to view each other's profiles to make sure they seem a safe and fair opponent.

* WEATHER/DIRECTIONS: How many times have your sports games been cancelled on account of weather or bad driving? MatchUp can display both weather forecasts and driving directions so you can pick the perfect place to play - whether you're creating a game or joining a game.

* PURE SPORTS: We don't mix in any recreational activities, trying to pass them off of as sports. MatchUp lets you organize basketball, football, tennis, soccer, golf, baseball, and hockey.

* MATCHES YOUR PERSONALITY: This is a pickup sports discovery app and it's ideal for both the planners and the spontaneous types. Whether you're going for a quick, one-time game with strangers or planning a big game for next week, MatchUp lets you do that.
