Application Description
A location-based alarm for sleepy/reading/chatting/playing/busy commuters.
Have you ever slept through your station or stop on your way home? With MapNap you don't have to worry, just activate your destination with tap-and-hold gesture and have a nap. Using accurate GPS location tracking, MapNap will wake you up as you approach your station. MapNap makes commuting less stressful not only for sleepy, but also for reading, chatting, playing or otherwise preoccupied commuters, especially when it is dark outside and the signs cannot be clearly seen. MapNap uses iPhone's GPS in turn-by-turn driving mode to watch the user's current location and notify the user when the geofence around the tracked destination has been crossed.
WARNINGS
• Requires GPS, doesn't work when no GPS is available (e.g. underground or in a tunnel)
• Drains battery quicker when tracking destinations due to constant use of GPS
• Use headphones for best results
