Application Description
MANA, the famous board game of Claude Leroy, designer of Gygès, comes to life on iPad.
2 damyos (japanese lords), assisted by 5 ronins (samurais mercenaries), confront each other on 36 calligraphed squares. The ideogram of each square tells you how far you can move. You win as soon as you capture your opponent's damyo by joining him on the same square.
But be careful : the "Mana", a malicious spirit, will try to pull the strings and manipulate your pieces: the only way to win is to escape its control!
Magically simple and nevertheless machiavellian !
Game duration : about 15 minutes.
In addition to its simple but powerful gameplay, the iPad version of the original Mana board game brings you:
• a stunning graphic and sound design that get you right into medieval japanese times
• a single player mode to let you train and defeat your future opponents
• a timed mode for two players games: the first player who has drained its time credit loses the game! Ideal to play breath holding 'blitz' games...
