Summer time is a great time to get out and explore the neighborhoods around you. The Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau invites you to see the treasures of downtown Louisville with its new iPod City Walking Tour. In just two hours, you will learn about downtown Louisville as reflected in its historic buildings, its civic center, several iconic statues and favorite attractions.

The new iPod tour is available at Louisvilleís Visitors Center at the corner of Fourth and Jefferson Streets. Beginning and ending at the Center, the tour explores 18 stops along Market Street, Whiskey Row, the Belvedere, Museum Row and the cityís center of government. Along the way the tour will stop at various points of interest that include: the Levy Building, the Galt House, the Humana Building, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, Belle of Louisville, Frazier History Museum, Louisville City Hall, Louisville Metro Hall, statues of King Louis XVI and Thomas Jefferson, just to name a few. Through pictures and narration, each stop comes alive with both past and present history.
