Application Description
LitZest is a Literature game. Play with great books and classic poems. Unscramble the words of masters in the context of their great works. Lite version includes hundreds of samples – rest can be downloaded.
These books include Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, the epic sea story of Captain Ahab's voyage by Herman Melville, and a set of 100 classic poems by various great poets.
You can also read small portions of these books at a time (as you unscramble a word) or you can read the entire book while you play.
You will have serious fun, but your time will be well-spent. The iPad edition comes with a large beautiful board and big game pieces.
TON OF SETS ... Each category (i.e. book or set of poems) comes with 1000 carefully prepared scrambles separated into 100 sets. Each of these categories is separately downloadable. That's 5000 interesting and fun scrambles that will keep you entertained for a while.
HOW DID THE MASTER USE IT? As you unscramble a word, you can read it in the context of the given masterpiece. See how masters of literature used a particular word.
PLAY WITH CLASSIC POEMS … Poems from great poets like Alfred Tennyson, John Keats, William Wordsworth, William Shakespeare, Rudyard Kipling, Lord Byron, Francis Scott Key, and many many others are included. Have fun unscrambling their words in the context of their poems.
HARD/EASY, KIDS/GENERAL, ETC ... Sets are associated with a level: General, Kids, and Specialized. General sets are for everybody. Kids will enjoy playing the Kids sets. And Specialized sets typically contain longer and harder words. You can mix and match these sets/scrambles.
If you are in the mood for some easy scrambles, play Easy scrambles. If you want to challenge yourselves, play Hard scrambles. While sets are divided according to Levels, individual scrambles are arranged into Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty levels.
ANIMATIONS AND FIREWORKS... Nice animations are included – fire for hard scrambles, fire works when you win a game, and many other animations. Letter holders move on a touch. You can drag and rearrange the letters in an intuitive way. Once you unscramble the last letter, all letters move up from slots in an animated way showing you the correct word/phrase.
