Lil’ BigR Calc is an easy-to-use calculator for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch that does most of what you want without a lot of clutter. If the basic four functions of Lil' Big Calc are not quite enough, Lil’ BigR Calc offers additional functions for finding square roots, squares, reciprocals, and converting any number into an equivalent percent. It also has a 5-button memory section for storing, retrieving, clearing, adding or subtracting a set value.

• Large easy-to-see and tap buttons and display.

• Most calculators give unhelpful messages like “Error” when things go wrong. Lil’ BigR Calc won’t leave you wondering “what went wrong?” or “what’s going on here?” Instead, you’ll get an informative message, such as “Yikes! Div by zero not allowed” or “Uh... No square root of negatives.”

• Customize Lil’ BigR Calc from within the Settings App.

* Set the background to Bomber Blue, Ultra Pink, Camouflage, Paint Party or Brushed Aluminum (more backgrounds coming soon).

* Choose from a selection of button tap sounds.

* Select your choice of error message sounds—electric guitar, bass clarinet or electric bass.

* Sounds can be turned on or off individually.

* Choose your preferred decimal separator and grouping symbols for how you like them.

* Choose the decimal precision to round to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 or 15 decimal places, or select Autoscale to let Lil’ BigR Calc choose the appropriate display precision.

* Select your preferred division button symbol (÷ or /) and multiplication button symbol
(x or * ).
