The logo for our company, The Learning Service, Ltd., is a picture of the Greek mathematician, engineer and intellect Archimedes. He is reported to have made the statement that with a sufficiently long lever and fulcrum he could lift the world. In paraphrasing the words of Archimedes, we came up with, “If I could find my place to stand, I could move the world.” That place to stand is reflective of your attitude, for upon it, all else rests and without it, all else is often for naught. You may have the skills or the “how to do” portion of things, and you may possess the knowledge or the “what to do” segment, but without attitude − the care to do − you will not succeed.
