Application Description
Letter Tumble is a trivia game with a twist. It combines a test of your knowledge with a race against the clock.
When your question appears the clock starts ticking and the letters of the answer appear one-by-one. Sounds great? Be beware however, the more letters revealed before you type in the correct answer, the lower your score will be!
Letter Tumble offers Question Packs. A Question Pack holds 500 devilishly hard questions about one theme. Each Question Pack is divided into 5 separate blocks of 100 questions, zooming in on a topic within the theme.
Letter Tumble comes pre-loaded with the Question Pack: News 2011. This Question Pack gives you the first 500 questions, ready to tickle your memory. These questions are divided into 5 sets of 100 questions on the topics:
- News 2011: Worldwide
- News 2011: USA domestic
- News 2011: Europe
- News 2011: Entertainment
- News 2011: Science
More Question Packs are available through In-App purchases.
At the release of version 1.0 there is one additional Question Pack available: Star Trek TV Series. Featuring all the familiar Star Trek places and people from The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space 9, Voyager and Enterprise.
New Question Packs will be released in the future, ready for you to purchase right from within the application. So keep an eye out for updates.
Options
You can select any topic of any Question Pack you own. Just choose one or as many as you like. You can mix-and-match to your heart's content. Letter Tumble will randomly select questions from the chosen topics.
Letter Tumble offers 2 Play Modes:
- Best of 20. Try to get all 20 questions right!
- Survival. Try to get as many questions right as you can, but it's Game Over after 3 mistakes.
You can also set the speed at which the letters of the answer appear (Slow, Medium, Fast), choose different backgrounds and view local and Game Center High Scores.
Please be advised: Letter Tumble is written for the iPad, iPad2 and the iPad Next Generation. It will work on iPhone and iPod Touch, but due to the smaller screen sizes, interacting with the application will be more difficult.
