Application Description
LegiCode VA is a reference application for the State of Virginia on the iPhone to assist those individuals that have a vested interest in legal work of any kind. It consists of all 31,663 Statutes available by the Virginia General Assembly for the 2013 year.
This application provides an accurate tool to be used by active duty law enforcement officers, lawyers, students preparing for the Bar Exam, and anyone that has an interested in knowing the laws that are applicable to them in the palm of their hand.
LegiCode VA has been tested by active duty officers in the state of VA, and was the topic of a graduate thesis to the impacts of officer efficiency and safety during terry/traffic stops. We hope to provide these individuals with an effective tool to increase individual safety while protecting civilians and our community.

- Fully functional search allows users to search by keyword(s) against statute description and law verbiage AND statute code searches.
- Ability for users to "Favorite" regularly referenced statute codes to reduce search time.
- Complete coverage of all 31,663 sections comprising the Code.
- Support for iPhone 4S and up.
- Support for iOS 6.1+
- Yearly Statute updates included.
- No Wi-Fi needed for text search, information is self-contained.
- If Wi-Fi is available voice search can be used within the app.
