LED ZEPPELIN – LIVE DREAMS iPhone / iPod Touch App is an updated version of the lavish coffee-table book first published in 1993. The award-winning work was released in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the formation of Led Zeppelin in 1968.

Called a “luxurious volume” by USA Today and “THE Zeppelin book” by David Letterman himself, there had simply never been anything like it published before. It was a museum-quality work of art made from the finest materials available, including a hand-made slipcase and a silver relief sculpture built onto the cover.

Now, LIVE DREAMS is back, and available through the App Store, in ways never believed possible. If you are a Led Zeppelin fan, this is not something you want to miss!

Photographer and author Laurance Ratner provides a unique narrative that takes the viewer--with images and words--into his personal experience of 22 legendary Led Zeppelin performances, recreating some very special moments from the 1972, 1973, 1975 and 1977 tours. The powerful visuals present a wide range of the moods, the passion, the inspired emotion and the amazing energy of a legendary Zeppelin performance.

The first edition of LIVE DREAMS was limited to 2000 copies each in English and Japanese and sold for between $135 and $350. The high price and limited availability of LIVE DREAMS made it a sought-after collector’s item, but was largely unavailable to the legions of Zeppelin fans.

Now, current technology has made it possible to re-release LIVE DREAMS in an interactive format along with all the advantages that only an iPhone / iPod Touch App can offer. Originally conceptualized as an e-book, it has been developed into much more containing many special features. We’re even more excited that this is now available for a fraction of the cost of the original LIVE DREAMS, and with the enhancements exclusively available to App users, we have been able to add never-before heard or seen content to satisfy the most voracious Led Zeppelin collector.

NOTE: Although compatible with the iPad, this version of LED ZEPPELIN – LIVE DREAMS was built specifically for the Retina Display of the iPhone and Photo Resolution is not optimized for iPad.

LIVE DREAMS and a collection of its photos were chosen for a special display on the Led Zeppelin Memorabilia Museum On Wheels on the Page/Plant 1995 North American Tour, at a cost of over $1 million.

LIVE DREAMS was presented with a Special Award ‘Recognizing Exceptional Creativity and Excellence in Design and Production’ at the 1996 Music Journalism Awards.

LIVE DREAMS was the subject of a mini-documentary on VH-1 and was featured on MTV-News twelve times.
