Application Description
Mastering the tables of multiplication is important for everyone. This application offers the teaching material in exactly the same way as the educational software for elementary schools does.
Children learn the 1 to 12 times tables. In the beginning, they will only be able to complete the 1 times table. The other tables are locked. They can practice one table ‘in order’ or ‘ad random’.
When practicing ‘in order’, the 1 times table is shown from 1x1, 2x1, 3x1 up to 12x1 and the student will have to fill in the answer.
When practicing ‘ad random’ the sums are shown in arbitrary order. If the student has answered all questions correctly the next table will be unlocked.
This way, the child first learns the 1 times up to 6 times tables. The child can subsequently obtain a diploma. For obtaining this diploma all sums of the 1 times up to 6 times tables are shown in arbitrary order. If all sums are answered correctly within 250 seconds, for which a wrong answer results in 7 penalty seconds, the student gets a lovely trophy.
After obtaining the first diploma for the 1 times to 6 times tables, the application will present the 7 times up to 12 times tables in the same way.
3 diplomas must be obtained in total: 1 to 6 times tables, 7 to 12 times tables and 1 to 12 times tables.
The trophies that the child has won are placed in the trophy cupboard so that the student can see how advanced he/she is.
