Application Description
Learn the Orchestra is a fun and interactive music playing and learning application, for kids and adults.
Follow the conductor’s lead as you learn about all the instruments in the orchestra and some great musicians who played them. Then step up to the conductor’s podium and choose one of the included classic orchestral pieces to interact with the whole orchestra, or take control and play the instruments on your own.
Finally, those who dare can take the conductor’s quiz and see if they've mastered their studies or need to head back to the practice room.
Featuring:
Virtual Orchestral Performances – Included are 6 classic orchestral pieces by, Beethoven, Mozart, Brahms, Greig, and Holst all performed by Learn the Orchestra’s virtual players.
Independent Section Selection - Solo or mute performances of the instruments and sections of the orchestra as they perform the included classic orchestral pieces.
Virtual Keyboard Mode with over 25 playable instruments – Select the section or player you wish to try and play their instrument on Learn the Orchestra’s virtual keyboard.
Quiz Mode – A quiz that changes every time you take it to hone your knowledge about the orchestra.
