Harmony of the Gospels lists over 300 chronological events in the life of Jesus Christ and simultaneously displays the scriptures that discuss each event. The benefit of this type of display of the scriptures is that the user can view all the scriptures side-by-side and compare similarities and differences for events that have more than one scripture. The scripture references include the four Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John from the King James Version of the Bible as well as pertinent scriptures from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. All of Christ’s spoken words are highlighted in red while the text of others who are quoted is displayed in blue. In addition, paintings from Carl H. Bloch and Liz Lemon Swindle have been incorporated into the program. Maps that depict the location of each event, as well as selective photos from the Holy Land are included with the program.
